The small friendly team all share the same vision and desire to share their knowledge with our guests. They have been carefully selected, not only because of their outstanding skills in their own field, but also because they are inspirational teachers who can cater for all levels of ability.

Judy Gardner
Judy Gardner, founder of the school, believes good food should be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. She has extensive experience in the food industry. Judy founded and ran Garner’s Foods, a manufacturing company specialising in high quality pickles and dressings. She perfected all of the recipes herself, building a brand through the 1990s which became highly regarded within the food industry.

Her next venture was to open and run the acclaimed Belle House restaurant in Pershore, where modern dishes and relaxed surroundings have proven to be a popular combination.

In 2004, Judy acquired Manor Farm in Eckington, with the aim of sharing her vision of modern entertaining with a wider circle. Her ambition was to create a cookery school that allowed visitors to gain as much experience as possible using outstanding facilities in a beautiful location, whilst having fun.

Resident Head Tutor  Mark Devonshire, who formerly  ran Rick Stein's Seafood School, runs all of the courses here at Eckington Manor Cookery School.  Mark and the team have a relaxed, friendly and informative teaching style.
