Meet The Team

Our small, friendly team all share the same passion and desire to ensure our guests have a wonderful time during their visit.

Judy Gardner

Judy Gardner, founder of the school, believes that life doesn’t get much better than good food in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
She has spent her life working in the food industry - initially founding Garner’s Foods which specialised in quality pickles and dressings. She perfected all of the recipes herself, building a brand through the 90s which became synonymous with ‘the best’ amongst retailers and consumers alike.

Her next venture was the acclaimed Belle House restaurant in Pershore where modern dishes and relaxed surroundings have proven to be a winning combination.
In 2004, Judy bought Manor Farm in Eckington, with the aim of sharing her vision of modern entertaining with everyone. Her ambition was to create a cookery school that allowed guests to learn all sorts of skills by offering outstanding facilities set in a beautiful location but without losing a sense of fun.

Dean Cole
Our head chef tutor, Dean Cole, joined us earlier this year after working in some of the best restaurants the world over.

Having trained at Birmingham College of Food, Dean moved to London to work under Michelin-starred Michael Bourdin at The Connaught. He then headed to Sharrow Bay in the Lake District, also spending time in Canada before coming back to the UK as head chef at award winning Bank Restaurant. Dean also owned and ran Opus Restaurant.
