Description

Join foraging expert Liz Knight as she teaches you how to forage for wild ingredients collected from Eckington Manors farm and local surrounding countryside. During the forage, you will learn how to safely and confidently start foraging and how it should be done legally and sustainably. Liz will then teach you how to turn finds into accompaniments for lunch in the cookery school – you will learn how the wild food gathered can be blended with other ingredients to create incredible flavours. After lunch, you will forage for ingredients to create a home-made gin or syrup which can be taken home.

Making the most of your Aga

I recently attended a ‘making the most of your Aga’ cooking course. The course was excellent and I just wanted to say thank you. Eckington Manor is beautiful and so is the cookery school, set in really lovely surroundings with beautiful gardens. The cookery school was a really pleasant place to learn, lovely and light and it had a really nice feel about it. Our AGA expert was absolutely great, her communication was brilliant and she has such a beautiful personality.
