Our workshops are fun, relaxed, aimed at all levels of ability and taught by our inspirational tutors.
This workshop is designed for anyone who has already taken a beginner’s workshop, or is self-taught and wishes to develop their calligraphy skills. During the session, we will be focusing on your technique, evolving, and refining your own, personal calligraphy style as well as covering flourishes and composition layouts.

Emerald Paper Design hosts a beginner’s guide to modern calligraphy in our fabulous Grain Barn. During the session, you will learn key modern calligraphy basics and how to use the essential tools and mark-making drills.

Emma, from Emerald Paper Design, will be hosting a beginner’s guide to brush lettering in our Grain Barn. During the session, key lettering basics will be covered – from how to use the kit to how to create letters before moving onto whole words. Emma will be giving demonstrations every step of the way, as well as being on hand for individual guidance.
