The Farm

The school forms part of a working farm breeding award winning herds of Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle as well as Sheep and Gloucester Old Spot Pigs. It is set in the heart of the English countryside.

Consisting of 260 acres of water meadow pasture, Manor Farm, is based on the River Avon and is the heart of Eckington Manor. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and consisting of delicately balanced river habitat it is essential that the whole farm is managed in an environmentally sensitive way. As a result, the farm is being managed under the government’s Environmental Stewardship Scheme which aims to achieve the highest level of environmental conservation. The cookery school is an essential part of the farm’s diversification. Perfectly complementing each other, both enable the long term sustainability of the landscape.

Wherever possible ingredients for the Cookery School, The Shop and our luxury 5* gold awarded accommodation will be sourced direct from the farm.
